Breaking News!!: San Bernardino, CA: Federal Bureau of Investigation breaks into terror suspect’s iPhone without Apple’s help.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, they have successfully used a mysterious technique without Apple’s help to break into an iPhone linked to terror suspect Syed Rizwan Farook in the terrorist attack that killed 14 people at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2016.

The surprise development announced on More Monday, March 28th, 2016 effectively ends a pitched court battle between Apple and the United States of America President Barack Obama’s Administration.

The government told a federal court without any details that it accessed data on terror suspect Syed Farook’s iPhone and no longer requires Apple’s assistance. Apple did not immediately comment on the development.

– A United States Magistrate Judge has ordered Apple Inc. to help the United States of America President Barack Obama Administration hack into an encrypted iPhone belonging to Syed Farook, the shooter in the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California, in a first-of-its-kind ruling that pits digital privacy against national security interests.

The ruling on Tuesday, February 16th, 2016 by United States Magistrate Judge Sheri Pym, a former federal prosecutor, requires Apple to supply highly specialized software the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) can load onto Syed Farook’s work iPhone to bypass a self-destruct feature, which erases the phone’s data after too many unsuccessful attempts to unlock it.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) wants to be able to try different combinations in rapid sequence until it finds the right one.

The decision gives the United States Justice Department a significant victory in an entrenched technology policy battle, as more-powerful encryption services threaten the ability of federal agents to uncover important evidence in criminal or terrorism cases.

The United States of America President Barack Obama Administration, which has embraced stronger encryption as a way to keep consumers safe on the Internet, had struggled to find a compelling example to make its case.

Syed Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, killed 14 people at a holiday luncheon for Syed Farook’s co-workers at the Inland Regional Center on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015.

The terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California was the deadliest terrorist attack on United States of America soil since the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in 2001.

Later, the couple, Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, died in a gun battle with law enforcement.

Federal prosecutors told the judge in a court application Tuesday, February 16th, 2016 that they can’t access a work phone used by Syed Farook because they don’t know his passcode and Apple has not cooperated.

Under United States’ law, a work phone is generally the property of a person’s employer.

United States Magistrate Judge Sheri Pym told Apple to provide an estimate of its cost to comply with her order, suggesting that the government will be expected to pay for the work.

The Apple company, based in Cupertino, California, has provided default encryption on its iPhones since 2014, allowing any device’s contents to be accessed only by the user who knows the phone’s passcode.

The order requires that the software Apple provides be programmed to work only on Syed Farook’s work phone, but it was not clear how readily that safeguard could be circumvented.

The order said Apple has 5 days to notify the court if it believes the ruling is unreasonably burdensome.

It also was not immediately clear what investigators believe they might find on Syed Farook’s work phone or why the information would not be available from third-party service providers, such as Google or Facebook, though investigators think the device may hold clues about whom the couple communicated with and where they may have traveled.

The couple took pains to physically destroy two personally owned cell phones, crushing them beyond the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.)’s ability to recover information from them.

They also removed a hard drive from their computer; it has not been found despite investigators diving for days for potential electronic evidence in a nearby lake in San Bernardino, California.

Syed Farook was not carrying his work iPhone during the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California and was discovered after a subsequent search.

It was not known whether Syed Farook forgot about the iPhone or did not care whether investigators found it.

Syed Farook’s work phone was running the newest version of Apple’s iPhone operating system, which requires a passcode and cannot be accessed by Apple, unlike earlier operating systems or older phone models.

The County of San Bernardino provided Syed Farook with an iPhone configured to erase data after 10 consecutive unsuccessful unlocking attempts.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) have said that feature appeared to be active on Syed Farook’s iPhone as of the last time he performed a backup.

Investigators are still working to piece together a missing 18 minutes in the couple’s timeline from the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California.

Investigators have concluded they were at least partly inspired by the Islamic State group; Tashfeen Malik’s Facebook page included a note pledging allegiance to the group’s leader around the time of the terrorist attack on San Bernardino, California.

Last week, Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.)  Director James Comey told members of United States Congress that investigators in the case had been unable to access a phone in the California case but provided no details.

“It is a big problem for law enforcement armed with a search warrant when you find a device that can’t be opened even when a judge says there’s probable cause to open it. Bennetta Bet-Badal’s family said that Bennetta Bet-Badal was born in 1969 in Iran and fled to New York at 18 year old to escape Islamic extremism that followed the Iranian Revolution.

Bennetta Bet-Badal eventually moved to Rialto, California, graduated from Cal Poly-Pomona with a chemistry degree, and worked as an inspector with the San Bernardino County Health Department.

Bennetta Bet-Badal married her husband, a police department officer at Riverside Community College in Riverside, California, and had 3 children, ages 10, 12, and 15.

– Almost 2 weeks after the terrorist attack at the Inland Reginoal Center in San Bernardino, California, San Bernardino County implemented on Monday, Decmeber 14th, 2015 a way to resume providing their crucial public service, while at the same time allowing staff to remain on leave.

San Bernardino County Officials have turned to the State of California to take over interim management of the Division of Environmental Health Services, and the State of California in turn brought in retirees and employees on loan from other jurisdictions on a temporary, as needed basis, until the staff members are ready to return.

According to San Bernardino County’s Public Information Officer David Wert, this attack has affected all of them very deeply and the County of San Bernardino wants to give their staff as much time as they need.

Staff members are welcome to return to their jobs when they feel ready, and counselors were present on Monday, Decmeber 14th, 2015 in case any came in then.

The terrorist attack at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California took the lives of 14 innocent people by 2 attackers, Syed Rizwan Farook, a five-year employee who had left the gathering and then returned and his wife Tashfeen Malik, who both were shot and killed later during a shootout with law enforcement.

It was previously announced that the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California will remain closed until after the new year 2016.

According to San Bernardino County’s Public Information Officer David Wert, the main San Bernardino County Environmental Health Office, which occupies nearly half the second floor of the Inland Regional Center building, will also remain closed for the time being.

Once all personal items have been removed, the Inland Regional Center intends to overhaul the space completely.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) Spokeswoman Laura Eimiller, specialized divers with the agency concluded their search through the lake at Seccombe Lake Park in San Bernardino, California for abandoned evidence, but declined to say if any items recovered are related to the probe.

Investigators have said the 2 attackers tried to cover their tracks by destroying emails, cellphones and other items at their home in Redlands, California.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) were tipped that the small lake in a park about 3 miles from the Inland Regional Center might hold the hard drive, according to a law enforcement official briefed on the investigation but not authorized to speak publicly about the case.

Authorities are saying that Syed Rizwan Farook’s longtime friend and relative through marriage, Enrique Marquez, bought the assault rifles used in the shooting more than 3 years ago, about the time he converted to Islam.

Syed Rizwan Farook asked Enrique Marquez to buy the rifles because he was worried he wouldn’t pass the background check himself.

Enrique Marquez, who checked himself into a mental hospital after the attack, told investigators that he and Syed Rizwan Farook were plotting an attack in 2012.

Enrique Marquez hasn’t been charged with a crime and has been cooperating with authorities.

In an online message, Anonymous asked people to mock ISIS, or “Daesh” as it is also known in the West (a derogatory term for the group) online as part of its “Operation ISIS” campaign.

Trolling is the term given to abuse, insults or threats made online with celebrities often being the targets of internet “trolls.”

Anonymous asked them to use the Twitter hashtags #Daesh and #Daeshbags and post “mocking photos” of the group – such as posting picture of goats to ISIS members with captions talking about their wives, amongst other trolling tactics.

Known as “hacktivists,” Anonymous is a collective of unknown hackers who have carried out various cyberattacks on governments and corporations.

Following the terrorist attacks in Paris, France in which killed 130 people on Friday, November 13th, 2015, the group declared “war” on ISIS and announced it would conduct “massive” cyberattacks on the group.

Since the shooting, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) has interviewed hundreds of people and conducted searches in the area looking for evidence.

It was not immediately clear whether any items were recovered.

According to the Rialto Police Department, Wilmer Amina Carter High School student got anonymous call that bomb was in her backpack, but this call was a hoax.

Later, an emotional scene who worry parents lead to parents pulling their kids out of school after the bomb threat was called a hoax.

On Wednesday, December 9th, 2015, employees at the El Al Cargo Facility in the 5700 block of West Century Boulevard near Los Angeles International Airport were evacuated at around 6:14am PT due to a suspicious package investigation.

Investigators later determined the package contained non-hazardous liquid.

The police activity did not affect operations at Los Angeles International Airport.

On Tuesday, December 8th, 2015, a man was arrested in connection with bomb threat hoaxes at a hospital and high school in the southern region of California.

Authorities arrested 19 year old John Albert William Davis of Phelan, California on suspicion of false bomb threats after authorities responded earlier that day to threats received by Grand Terrace High School in Grand Terrace, California, Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California, and an apartment complex in San Bernardino, California.

According to investigators, all of the bomb threats were phoned in from the same phone number.

The bomb threat hoaxes led to an evacuation just before 11:00am PT at Grand Terrace High School in Grand Terrace, California.

After a search of the Grand Terrace High School campus, students were allowed to returned to class.

Another threat was received just before 11:00am PT Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the caller said he was making a bomb and the hospital better be ready.

A search at the hospital that ended about an hour later when nothing suspicious was found, and no evacuation was ordered during the search.

People at the hospital were allowed to move about freely during the investigation.

Detectives discovered a third bomb threat was made at an apartment complex in San Bernardino, California.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the caller’s identification showed the same phone number as the other 2 bomb threats with the name John Albert William Davis and that John Albert William Davis was in possession of the phone used to make the bomb threats.

John Albert William Davis was arrested, transported to the Central Detention Center, and booked for PC 148.1(a)- False Bomb Threats.

John Albert William Davis was being held on $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in the San Bernardino Superior Court at 12:30pm PT on Thursday, December 10th, 2015.

– 42 year old Larry Daniel Kaufman was a fun, funny, and friendly man, frequented at Renaissance Faire and enjoyed being involved in Renaissance Faire events, and ran the coffee shop at the Inland Regional Center.

– 58 year old Damian Meins worked for the San Bernardino County Department of Environmental Health; was a bright light with a warm smile and a hearty laugh; and was passionate about serving his community, a that message he took from the priests at his Catholic high school in Riverside, California and carried throughout his life.

Walter Hackett, who met Damian Meins 40 years ago well in high school, said, “Service to others, helping others. He very much took that to heart. Damian was a good, good guy. Funny and smart and tall. A real quick smile, very friendly and outgoing. It’s a real hard hit for all of us who knew him.”

Damian Meins married his high school sweetheart, now a Catholic school principal, and they raised 2 daughters, one a teacher.

– 37 year old Michael Raymond Wetzel was a father of 6 children; was a member of the Church of the Woods in Lake Arrowhead, California; and worked as an environmental specialist with the County of San Bernardino.

Friends and fellow church members appealed for help supporting his widow Renee, a stay-at-home mom in Lake Arrowhead, California.

In a statement, issued through her friend Celia Behar, Renee Wetzel said, “Michael was the most amazing person. He was my best friend and an incredible father who was loved by all. I have never known a better person. He loved his work and his family so very much. Without him, this family will never be the same. We appreciate all the love and support that everyone is showing.”

Celia Behar runs a blog for mothers where Renee Wetzel frequently posted, and shortly after learning that her husband, she turned to the blog website to ask for prayers.

Renee Wetzel wrote, “My husband was in a meeting and a shooter came in. There are multiple people dead/shot. I can’t get a hold of him.”

After last month’s deadly shootings in Paris, she posted a vacation photo on Facebook, overlain by the colors of the French flag.

After Renee Wetzel’s husband’s death was confirmed, she posted a Bible passage which read, “When my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”

– 46 year old Bennetta Bet-Badal was born in Iran in 1969.

According to a statement from Bennetta Bet-Badal’s family, Bennetta Bet-Badal came to the United States of America at 18 year old to escape the persecution of Christians after the Iranian Revolution.

Bennetta Bet-Badal first settled in New York City, New York, but eventually moved to Rialto, California.

Bennetta Bet-Badal and her husband, a law enforcement officer, were married in 1997 and have 3 children ages 10, 12, and 15.

Bennetta Bet-Badal graduated from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California with a degree in chemistry and took a job as a health inspector with the County of San Bernardino.

Bennetta Bet-Badal’s husband Arlen Verdehyou told The Daily Breeze that he and his wife exchanged texts at 8:00am PT on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015, and told her that he had withdrawn money from the bank and would do some Christmas shopping.

Bennetta Bet-Badal had recently decorated the family’s Christmas tree and was planning to give a presentation at the annual holiday meeting on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015 which she was excited about.

According to the statement from Bennetta Bet-Badal’s family, “It is the ultimate irony that her life would be stolen from her that day by what appears to be the same type of extremism that she fled so many years ago.”

– 27 year old Yvette Velasco is described by her family as smart, motivated, and full of life.

Yvette Velasco’s family said Yvette Velasco was an “intelligent, motivated and beautiful young woman who was full of life and loved by all who knew her,” and that they are “devastated and still processing this nightmare.”

Yvette Velasco is survived by her parents and 3 sisters.

Yvette Velasco’s family ask the public, “Please pray for our family and the other families who have lost a loved one as a result of this terrible tragedy.”

Elizabeth Faron, a friend of Yvette Velasco from college, remembered her friend as “amazing, very sweet, friendly and affectionate.”

– 46 year old Harry Bowman was a lover of the outdoor, had only recently been hired as a statistical analyst for the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, and for several years, had been an expert on data sets and mapping for the University of Southern California’s National Center for Risk and Economic Analysis of Terrorism Events.

According to Isaac Maya, director of research and transition at the Inland Regional Center, said that Harry Bowman, “was a great guy, very friendly, always willing to help. We had a very nice lunch for him at the University Club when he left.”

At the Inland Regional Center, Harry Bowman used his expertise in software, mapping, and data sets to evaluate the risk and economic impact of terrorist events in order to guide authorities in their planning and decision making.

Harry Bowman was also a dedicated member of the Roman Catholic Church who frequently taught religious classes.

Harry Bowman spent his free time hiking or visiting with his school-age daughters, whose college education he was saving for.

In a statement, Harry Bowman’s family said, “This is a tragic loss for our family, much like it is for all families around the world who have experienced this kind of violence. There are no words that express our sadness in losing such a special person.”

Harry Bowman was a native of Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania’s Governor Tom Wolf offered his condolences following what he called this “senseless violence.”

– 45 year old Shannon Johnson worked as a health inspector with the San Bernardino County Department of Health and lived with his girlfriend.

Shannon Johnson commuted for more than an hour by train each morning from his home in Los Angeles, California to San Bernardino County, California to work.

According to Shannon Johnson’s girlfriend Mandy Pfifer, Shannon Johnson liked to finish all his paperwork on the train so he had extra time to chat with colleagues, including Syed Rizwan Farook.

“Shannon said it was like a little United Nations. Shannon loved everybody,” said Mandy Pfifer.

Mandy Pfifer is a longtime member of Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Crisis Response Team.

Shannon Johnson was his usual self; making a light-hearted joke with colleague Denise Peraza at the holiday banquet about how the clock on the wall might be broken because time seemed to be going by so slowly.

Just 5 minutes later, both Shannon Johnson and Denise Peraza were huddled under a table as bullets flew across the room.

In a statement, Denise Peraza said Shannon Johnson held her close and told her, “I got you.”

“I believe I am still here today because of this amazing man,” said Denise Peraza.

According to Shannon Johnson ex-wife Tina Johnson, Shannon Johnson grew up in Kentucky and played baseball at a college in Georgia.

Tina Johnson said that they were married for 6 years in the 1990’s and remembered that he loved to watch sports and “had memorized all the stats,” and loved to make people laugh.

“He had southern down-home type of humor. It was not dry wit,” said Tina Johnson.

Shannon Johnson’s girlfriend Mandy Pfifer said that on their last morning together, she woke up unexpectedly at 3:00am PT, feeling the need to spend a couple extra hours with him.

“So that’s really special. That’s a really special memory,” said Mandy Pfifer.

As the investigation continued at the Inland Regional Center, the doors to the facility remained closed leaving families who count on services at the Inland Regional Center in limbo.

“It’s frustrating,” a mother from Murrieta, California, who asked not to be identified, said to NBC affiliate KNBC Channel 4 adding that her 4 year old daughter has a rare disorder called Doose’s Syndrome.

“Since the shooting happened … we are kind of stuck in between. I feel sad for the victims … but we are the silent victims,” said the mother from Murrieta, California.

According to her mother, her daughter was approved to get a caseworker and on call caretaker through the Inland Regional Center earlier this year, but because of what happened at the Inland Regional Center last week, the process is on hold now, and with the holidays coming up, she don’t know what they happen.

According to the Inland Regional Center’s website, “For the past 44 years, Inland Regional Center’s qualified and supportive employees strive daily to serve more than 31,000 individuals with developmental disabilities in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. In a statement released late on Tuesday, December 8th, 2015, Inland Regional Center Officials indicated they had planned to reopen this week.

However, according to Inland Regional Center Spokeswoman Leeza Hoyt, “the repair and cleanup process will take longer than expected.”

Inland Regional Center Spokeswoman Leeza Hoyt added that the staff is in the process of setting up access at other locations for clients.

“The repair process [at the IRC] could be as long as the first of the year,” said Inland Regional Center Spokeswoman Leeza Hoyt.

– During a Senate Judiciary Committee, Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) Director James Comey said that the 2 San Bernardino shooters were radicalized at least 2 years ago and had discussed jihad and martyrdom as early as 2013, a year before they married.

According to Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) Director James Comey, investigators believe that Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik, were radicalized even before they began their online relationship and that Tashfeen Malik held extremist views before she arrived in the United States of America last year.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) Director James Comey told the Senate Judiciary Committee that the 2 “as early as the end of 2013 were talking to each other about jihad and martyrdom before they became engaged and married and were living in the U.S.”

The disclosure means that Tashfeen Malik’s radicalization had already begun when she applied for a visa to come to the United States of America to get married, and that the government’s vetting process apparently failed to detect it.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) Director James Comey told the Senate Judiciary Committee that he didn’t know enough to say whether weaknesses in the visa process enabled her to enter the United States of America.

Meanwhile, caseworkers with the Inland Regional Center are still doing field work.

Investigators have said Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik opened fire on co-workers at a holiday party there.

Authorities, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.),  are investigating the attack as “an act of terrorism”.

ISIS has said Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik were followers of the group.

NBC News is reporting that there has been no evidence to indicate the couple was part of a broader network, but investigators are seeking out any possible associates who may have helped make the attack possible.

In particular, authorities are examining a $28,000 deposit made to Syed Rizwan Farook’s bank account in the weeks prior to the attack, along with cellphone data and electronic records.

Authorities say that it’s unclear who deposited the funds.

As alarms where going off, sprinklers on, and their vision dimmed by smoke from gunpowder, brave law enforcement officers and deputies, with the help of emergency dispatchers, helped guide the groups of law enforcement officers and deputies into the chaos scene never turning back because they all knew that lives were in trouble.

San Bernardino Police Department Detective Brian Lewis and San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden spoke at the news conference telling news reporters what happened that day of terror.

“We didn’t have any cover. We didn’t know where in the building the gunmen were,” said San Bernardino Police Department Detective Brian Lewis.

“We didn’t know exactly how many people were down, but we knew that we needed to get in there and save them. I think we fully expected to take gunfire, which we did not.” said San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden.

As the group of law enforcement officers and deputies entered the Inland Regional Center, they can see the fear on the faces of the people inside and the cries for help heard from people inside.

“They were asking for help and were asking for first aid,” said San Bernardino County Probation Officer Nathan Scarano.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Detective Jorge Lozano, who helped rescued people out of the Inland Regional Center and was captured on video saying to people in fear that the attackers were still inside the building, “I’ll take a bullet before you do, that’s for damn sure”, spoke at the news conference telling news reporters what happened that day of terror.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Detective Jorge Lozano said that he and his partner heard people screaming for help and can see people hiding between cars in the parking lot and people who had been shot in need of help.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Detective Jorge Lozano explained what happened that day saying, “There was a female there with a small child, maybe an 8-year-old little boy, that was just terrified, just shivering, almost to the point of shaking like a leaf and I said what I said. I meant what I said. I said it for them just to kinda calm down, relax.”

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Detective Jorge Lozano said the words he said to the scared survivors weren’t anything special despite the attention they’ve gotten: “I don’t feel like a hero whatsoever.”

San Bernardino County Probation Officer Nathan Scarano and his partner started loading people into the bed of their trucks and driving them away from the scene, then returning for more.

California Highway Patrol Officer Brian Alvarez said that one of the reasons they all came running is because this is what we train for and this is what we signed up for this.

Speaking about the victims, California Highway Patrol Officer Brian Alvarez said, “They didn’t sign up for this. They were having a holiday party. They were going to work. This is not what they were expecting to encounter that day.”

– NBC affiliate KNBC Channel 4 is reporting that federal authorities say identified terrorists Syed Farook and Tashfeed Malik both went to shooting ranges prior to the mass murder attack.

“That target practice on one occasion was done within days” of the terror attack, said David Bowdich, Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) in Los Angeles, California.

One of the ranges used by Syed Farook is located in a light industrial park in Riverside, California which is not far from where Syed Farook and Tashfeed Mali lived before moving to Redlands, California last May 2015.

“The only thing I can say is the FBI has already gathered the information on the days he was at the range here,” said John Galletta, identifying himself as a firearms instructor at the Riverside Magnum Range.

According to John Galletta, he did not interact with Farook and did not recall him.

“Just a normal guy is what was relayed to me,” said John Galletta.

According to John Galletta, Syed Farook brought with him the guns he fired at the range, but he could not say if these were the same weapons later used in the attack.

“How are you able to determined somebody’s intents after they leave your place of business? It’s impossible,” said John Galletta.

According to David Bowdich, Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) in Los Angeles, California, the couple, Syed Farook and Tashfeed Mali, had been “radicalized for some time” which investigators have now concluded.

On Friday, December 4th, 2015, authorities concluded the attack was intended as “an act of terrorism”, inspired — though not necessarily directed — from overseas.

Syed Farook and Tashfeed Mali were killed in a shootout with law enforcement after a pursuit and hours after their attack at the Inland Regional Center.

At that shootout location, authorities recovered 2 assault rifles and 2 handguns.

According to the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, a 5th firearm, a rifle, was found later during a search of their rental townhome in Redlands, California.

According to John D’Angelo, Assistant Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms in Los Angeles, California, authorities say that all 5 weapons were legally purchased between 2007 and 2012.

The 2 assault rifles were purchased by Enrique Marquez, a neighbor of Syed Farook in the Riverside, California neighborhood where both grew up.

According to John D’Angelo, Assistant Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms in Los Angeles, California, the circumstances under which Syed Farook obtained the weapons from Enrique Marquez are still under investigation.

– A morning news conference was held on Monday, December 7th, 2015 with doctors and medical workers who all helped in treating the victims of the terrorist attack at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015.

An emergency room doctor who volunteers as an armed physician on a SWAT Team was among the first responders to the terrorist attack at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California.

The emergency room doctor helped to search for hostages then rushed to the scene of a gun battle between authorities and the shooters.

Dr. Michael Neeki, Chief Medical Officer of San Bernardino County’s Probation Department and Volunteer member of the Inland Valley SWAT Team, spoke to the news media during a morning news conference on Monday, December 7th, 2015 talking about leaving his post at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center after receiving a call about an active shooter at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California.

According to Dr. Michael Neeki, it took him about 25 minutes to drive about 6 miles, through traffic, to get to what he referred to as “the hot zone.”

With his bag of medical supplies in tow, Dr. Michael Neeki and his team entered the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California and went room to room in search of people stranded inside.

When his team received word that the shooters were locked in a shootout with authorities nearby, Dr. Michael Neeki rushed to the scene riding a secondary armored vehicle for his protection.

“Being a physician, they don’t want me to get hurt. They are willing to take a bullet for me and I’m willing to take a bullet for them. This is the commitment that I have to this community,” said Dr. Michael Neeki.

According to Dr. Michael Neeki, he fought in the Iran-Iraq War in the 1980’s for 2 years before eventually immigrating to the United States from Iran.

“I’m here because I came for democracy. It’s sad to see that you come miles from across the world and see something like that happen here in a country that respects everybody and gives equal opportunity,” said Dr. Michael Neeki.

Dr. Michael Neeki said he battle experience makes him mentally and tactically a little bit more ready than the other physicians.

“I tried to take all those as a positive experience in my life and move forward,” said Dr. Michael Neeki.

Dr. Michael Neeki arrived to California from Ohio in 2006.

just 3 years later, Dr. Michael Neeki began volunteering with the Rialto Police Department.

Dr. Michael Neeki then joined the Inland Valley SWAT Team in 2012.

According to Dr. Michael Neeki, it took him nearly a year and half to meet California’s regulations to join the SWAT team as its only physician.

Due to budget constraints, Dr. Michael Neeki pays for his own training and some of his equipment.

Some of Dr. Michael Neeki’s gear was donated by the cities of Rialto, California; Fontana, California; and Colton, California which created the 45-member Inland Valley SWAT Team in 2012.

The Pakistan-born Tashfeen Malik, who spent much of her life in Saudi Arabia, entered the United States of America on a so-called fiance or K- visa, which allows a soon-to-be spouse to travel to the United States of America for a wedding within 90 days.

– David Bowdich, Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) in Los Angeles, California, laid out more details during a news conference about the investigation into the terrorist attack at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California.

According to David Bowdich, Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) in Los Angeles, California, the couple in the terrorist attack, Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, had been radicalized “for some time” and did target practice before the deadly rampage left 14 dead and injured 21 at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015.

The wide-ranging probe involved interviews with more than 400 people and the collection of over 320 pieces of evidence.

Investigators found evidence Farook and Malik destroyed their mobile phones the day before the shootings.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) is saying that it has evidence that both shooters, identified as 28 year old Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife identified as 27 year old Tashfeen Malik, participated in target practices at ranges across Los Angeles, California.

The news comes as federal authorities are scrutinizing the backgrounds of the assailants in the deadly shooting attacks to determine how they became radicalized and if they received outside funds to finance the deadliest terror strike on American soil since the attacks on 9-11.

“Good evening. On Wednesday, 14 Americans were killed as they came together to celebrate the holidays. They were taken from family and friends who loved them deeply. They were white and black; Latino and Asian; immigrants and American-born; moms and dads; daughters and sons. Each of them served their fellow citizens and all of them were part of our American family.

Tonight, I want to talk with you about this tragedy, the broader threat of terrorism, and how we can keep our country safe.

The FBI is still gathering the facts about what happened in San Bernardino, but here is what we know. The victims were brutally murdered and injured by one of their coworkers and his wife. So far, we have no evidence that the killers were directed by a terrorist organization overseas, or that they were part of a broader conspiracy here at home. But it is clear that the two of them had gone down the dark path of radicalization, embracing a perverted interpretation of Islam that calls for war against America and the West. They had stockpiled assault weapons, ammunition, and pipe bombs. So this was an act of terrorism, designed to kill innocent people.

Our nation has been at war with terrorists since al Qaeda killed nearly 3,000 Americans on 9/11. In the process, we’ve hardened our defenses — from airports to financial centers, to other critical infrastructure. Intelligence and law enforcement agencies have disrupted countless plots here and overseas, and worked around the clock to keep us safe. Our military and counterterrorism professionals have relentlessly pursued terrorist networks overseas — disrupting safe havens in several different countries, killing Osama bin Laden, and decimating al Qaeda’s leadership.

Over the last few years, however, the terrorist threat has evolved into a new phase. As we’ve become better at preventing complex, multifaceted attacks like 9/11, terrorists turned to less complicated acts of violence like the mass shootings that are all too common in our society. It is this type of attack that we saw at Fort Hood in 2009; in Chattanooga earlier this year; and now in San Bernardino. And as groups like ISIL grew stronger amidst the chaos of war in Iraq and then Syria, and as the Internet erases the distance between countries, we see growing efforts by terrorists to poison the minds of people like the Boston Marathon bombers and the San Bernardino killers.

For seven years, I’ve confronted this evolving threat each morning in my intelligence briefing. And since the day I took this office, I’ve authorized U.S. forces to take out terrorists abroad precisely because I know how real the danger is. As Commander-in-Chief, I have no greater responsibility than the security of the American people. As a father to two young daughters who are the most precious part of my life, I know that we see ourselves with friends and coworkers at a holiday party like the one in San Bernardino. I know we see our kids in the faces of the young people killed in Paris. And I know that after so much war, many Americans are asking whether we are confronted by a cancer that has no immediate cure.

Well, here’s what I want you to know: The threat from terrorism is real, but we will overcome it. We will destroy ISIL and any other organization that tries to harm us. Our success won’t depend on tough talk, or abandoning our values, or giving into fear. That’s what groups like ISIL are hoping for. Instead, we will prevail by being strong and smart, resilient and relentless, and by drawing upon every aspect of American power.

Here’s how. First, our military will continue to hunt down terrorist plotters in any country where it is necessary. In Iraq and Syria, airstrikes are taking out ISIL leaders, heavy weapons, oil tankers, infrastructure. And since the attacks in Paris, our closest allies — including France, Germany, and the United Kingdom — have ramped up their contributions to our military campaign, which will help us accelerate our effort to destroy ISIL.

Second, we will continue to provide training and equipment to tens of thousands of Iraqi and Syrian forces fighting ISIL on the ground so that we take away their safe havens. In both countries, we’re deploying Special Operations Forces who can accelerate that offensive. We’ve stepped up this effort since the attacks in Paris, and we’ll continue to invest more in approaches that are working on the ground.

Third, we’re working with friends and allies to stop ISIL’s operations — to disrupt plots, cut off their financing, and prevent them from recruiting more fighters. Since the attacks in Paris, we’ve surged intelligence-sharing with our European allies. We’re working with Turkey to seal its border with Syria. And we are cooperating with Muslim-majority countries — and with our Muslim communities here at home — to counter the vicious ideology that ISIL promotes online.

Fourth, with American leadership, the international community has begun to establish a process — and timeline — to pursue ceasefires and a political resolution to the Syrian war. Doing so will allow the Syrian people and every country, including our allies, but also countries like Russia, to focus on the common goal of destroying ISIL — a group that threatens us all.

This is our strategy to destroy ISIL. It is designed and supported by our military commanders and counterterrorism experts, together with 65 countries that have joined an American-led coalition. And we constantly examine our strategy to determine when additional steps are needed to get the job done. That’s why I’ve ordered the Departments of State and Homeland Security to review the visa program under which the female terrorist in San Bernardino originally came to this country. And that’s why I will urge high-tech and law enforcement leaders to make it harder for terrorists to use technology to escape from justice.

Now, here at home, we have to work together to address the challenge. There are several steps that Congress should take right away.

To begin with, Congress should act to make sure no one on a no-fly list is able to buy a gun. What could possibly be the argument for allowing a terrorist suspect to buy a semi-automatic weapon? This is a matter of national security.

We also need to make it harder for people to buy powerful assault weapons like the ones that were used in San Bernardino. I know there are some who reject any gun safety measures. But the fact is that our intelligence and law enforcement agencies — no matter how effective they are — cannot identify every would-be mass shooter, whether that individual is motivated by ISIL or some other hateful ideology. What we can do — and must do — is make it harder for them to kill.

Next, we should put in place stronger screening for those who come to America without a visa so that we can take a hard look at whether they’ve traveled to warzones. And we’re working with members of both parties in Congress to do exactly that.

Finally, if Congress believes, as I do, that we are at war with ISIL, it should go ahead and vote to authorize the continued use of military force against these terrorists. For over a year, I have ordered our military to take thousands of airstrikes against ISIL targets. I think it’s time for Congress to vote to demonstrate that the American people are united, and committed, to this fight.

My fellow Americans, these are the steps that we can take together to defeat the terrorist threat. Let me now say a word about what we should not do.

We should not be drawn once more into a long and costly ground war in Iraq or Syria. That’s what groups like ISIL want. They know they can’t defeat us on the battlefield. ISIL fighters were part of the insurgency that we faced in Iraq. But they also know that if we occupy foreign lands, they can maintain insurgencies for years, killing thousands of our troops, draining our resources, and using our presence to draw new recruits.

The strategy that we are using now — airstrikes, Special Forces, and working with local forces who are fighting to regain control of their own country — that is how we’ll achieve a more sustainable victory. And it won’t require us sending a new generation of Americans overseas to fight and die for another decade on foreign soil.

Here’s what else we cannot do. We cannot turn against one another by letting this fight be defined as a war between America and Islam. That, too, is what groups like ISIL want. ISIL does not speak for Islam. They are thugs and killers, part of a cult of death, and they account for a tiny fraction of more than a billion Muslims around the world — including millions of patriotic Muslim Americans who reject their hateful ideology. Moreover, the vast majority of terrorist victims around the world are Muslim. If we’re to succeed in defeating terrorism we must enlist Muslim communities as some of our strongest allies, rather than push them away through suspicion and hate.

That does not mean denying the fact that an extremist ideology has spread within some Muslim communities. This is a real problem that Muslims must confront, without excuse. Muslim leaders here and around the globe have to continue working with us to decisively and unequivocally reject the hateful ideology that groups like ISIL and al Qaeda promote; to speak out against not just acts of violence, but also those interpretations of Islam that are incompatible with the values of religious tolerance, mutual respect, and human dignity.

But just as it is the responsibility of Muslims around the world to root out misguided ideas that lead to radicalization, it is the responsibility of all Americans — of every faith — to reject discrimination. It is our responsibility to reject religious tests on who we admit into this country. It’s our responsibility to reject proposals that Muslim Americans should somehow be treated differently. Because when we travel down that road, we lose. That kind of divisiveness, that betrayal of our values plays into the hands of groups like ISIL. Muslim Americans are our friends and our neighbors, our co-workers, our sports heroes — and, yes, they are our men and women in uniform who are willing to die in defense of our country. We have to remember that.
My fellow Americans, I am confident we will succeed in this mission because we are on the right side of history. We were founded upon a belief in human dignity — that no matter who you are, or where you come from, or what you look like, or what religion you practice, you are equal in the eyes of God and equal in the eyes of the law.

Even in this political season, even as we properly debate what steps I and future Presidents must take to keep our country safe, let’s make sure we never forget what makes us exceptional. Let’s not forget that freedom is more powerful than fear; that we have always met challenges — whether war or depression, natural disasters or terrorist attacks — by coming together around our common ideals as one nation, as one people.

So long as we stay true to that tradition, I have no doubt America will prevail.

Daniel Kaufman’s boyfriend tells NBC affiliate KNBC Channel 4 that they will be holding a “celebration of life” service in the next 2 weeks.

In a press release, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department John McMahon officially address the online hysteria saying, “We are aware of the rumors on social media claiming to have come from law enforcement advising the public to stay away from movie theaters, malls, etc. due to threats. These messages are unsubstantiated claims of additional threats against our community. Citizens should be wary of possible hoax messages and follow verified law enforcement social media accounts and press releases. NBC News is reporting that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) searched a home on Saturday, December 5th, 2015 in Riverside, California of Enrique Marquez.

Authorities believe Enrique Marquez originally bought the assault rifles used in the deadly shooting rampage in San Bernardino, California.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) is saying that Enrique Marquez is not considered a suspect in the deadly shooting rampage.

Neighbors who witnessed the search say agents cut open the garage door with blow torches, used bomb-sniffing dogs, and temporarily detained his father and younger brother.

The Enrique Marquez ‘s father told NBC News that he does not know where Enrique Marquez is and declined further comment.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.), the 2 assault weapons were originally bought in 2011 and 2012 by Enrique Marquez, said to be a friend of Syed Rizwan Farook’s, but investigators don’t yet know whether Syed Rizwan Farook gave him the money upfront, or obtained the guns from him later.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) is saying that the warrant was executed overnight following a precautionary tactical entry.

NBC News is reporting that the United States government’s ability to review and analyze at least 5 years’ worth of telephone records for the married couple blamed in the deadly shootings lapsed just 4 days earlier when the National Security Agency’s controversial mass surveillance program was formally shut down.

Under a court order, those historical calling records at the National Security Agency are now off-limits to agents running the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) terrorism investigation even with a warrant.

Instead, under the new USA Freedom Act, authorities were able to obtain roughly 2 years’ worth of calling records directly from the phone companies of the married couple blamed in the attack.

The period covered the entire time that the wife, Tashfeen Malik, lived in the United States, although her husband, Syed Rizwan Farook, had been here much longer.

Tashfeen Malik reportedly moved from Pakistan to the United States of America in July 2014 and married Syed Rizwan Farook the following month.

Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) Director James Comey declined to say to NBC News on Friday, December 4th, 2015 whether the National Security Agency program’s shutdown affected the government’s terrorism investigation in California.

According to Associated Press writer Maamoun Youssef, ISIS’s official radio station on Saturday, December 5th, 2015 aired a statement saying the mass shooting was carried out by 2 “supporters” of the extremist group.

The message’s authenticity was confirmed by NBC News and the statement translated said, We ask God to accept them as martyrs.”

While praising the deadly attack, the group stopped short of claiming responsibility for it.

Law enforcement sources authorities have told NBC News this week that suspect, Tashfeen Malik, posted a pledge of support to an ISIS leader on Facebook at around the time of the attack.

NBC News is reporting that law enforcement sources told NBC News that Tashfeen Malik pledged allegiance to the leader of ISIS just before she and her husband carried out the San Bernardino, California massacre.

Tashfeen Malik posted a statement of support for Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi on Facebook “just before the attack,” an official familiar with the issue said.

CNBC has confirmed that Facebook said it pulled the post down after the shooting.

Despite what has been discovered on these 2 shooters, including the large amount of weapons and explosives, Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) Director James Comey is saying that there was no indication that Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik were part of an organized terror cell or group and that their activity up until the shooting didn’t raise any red flags for investigators.

“We have no indication that these killers are part of an organized larger group or form part of a cell. There’s no indication that they are part of a network,” said Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) Director James Comey.

Sierra Clayborn’s sister Tamishia Clayborn tells NBC affiliate KNBC Channel 4 that Sierra Clayborn was a recent addition to the team working as a restaurant inspector for the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health.

Sierra Clayborn was a graduated from the University of California, Riverside in Riverside, California.

Robert Adams’ family said, “He was a loving son, brother, husband and daddy to daughter Savannah.”

Robert Adams and his wife, Summer, had plans to take their daughter to Disneyland for the first time next week.

Nicholas Thalasinos’s wife Jennifer Thalasinos tells NBC affiliate WCAU Channel 10 that her husband was a Messianic Jew and her faith was strong.

“He evangelized to everybody so he had made friends with so many people,” said Jennifer Thalasinos.

Jennifer Thalasinos said that she knows Nicholas Thalasinos is in the arms of God and that he was a martyr for his faith.

Damien Meins was a longtime employee of Riverside County, California who returned to work after retiring in 2010.

Damien Meins’ daughter Tina Meins told the Press-Enterprise that Damian Meins was married to Trenna Meins who is the principal of Sacred Heart School in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

– 37 year old Michael Wetzel of Lake Arrowhead, California:

Michael Wetzel was a father of 6 children and was a member of the Church of the Woods in Lake Arrowhead, California.

Michael Wetzel worked as an environmental specialist.

Michael Wetzel was in a meeting at the Inland Regional Center when the gunfire broke out.

Michael Wetzel is survived by his wife and their 6 children, who span ages from infant to teenage.

In a statement, Michael Wetzel’s wife Renee Wetzel said, “Michael was the most amazing person. He was my best friend and incredible Father who was loved by all. I didn’t know a better person. He loved his work and his family so very much. Without him, this family will never be the same. We appreciate all the love and support that everyone is showing. We ask that out privacy be respected during this terrible time.”

The first law enforcement officer to arrive at the deadly shooting attack at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, California spoke to the news media during a news conference late Thursday night and describes ‘carnage’ and ‘tragedy’.

San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden, who usually mans a desk as an administrative officer, was on his way to lunch when the calls about gunfire at the Inland Resource Center.

Before he even arrived, San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden already knew that the worst was true just from the dispatcher’s voice.

“This was actually happening. This was a real event,” said San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden.

According to San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden, he and 3 other law enforcement officers made their way to south of the center and then to the east, it was immediately evident the reports we were getting were 100 percent true.

When we entered, there was fresh gunpowder and the smell of fresh gunpowder in the air amid the festive holiday scene that had been set up for 75 or more people, most of them county employees who had gathered for a training session and a holiday luncheon event.

According to San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden, it was extremely loud with fire alarms and sprinklers roaring over the moans and wails we heard from the wounded was adding to the chaos inside.

As San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden and his small team advanced, “it was unspeakable, the carnage we were seeing.”

San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden describe to news reporters the pure panic on the faces of people desperate to be rescued.

“We had to tell them several times, ‘come to us, come to us,’ and they did, and once that person took the first motions forward, it opened the floodgates,” said San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden.

San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden is a 24 year veteran and has gone through active-shooter training, but he said, “although we train for it, it’s something you’re never prepared for.

“I did the job that I was supposed to do. People don’t call the police because they’re having a great day. They call the police because there’s a tragedy, and I don’t think I’ve seen tragedy like that before,” said San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden.

San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden then spoke about the service law enforcement officers do every day and how something he said is overlooked in controversies over police involved shootings and alleged police brutality.

“We’ve taken a lot of hits lately — some of it justified, some of it not justified — and it takes a toll on you. It’s hard being labeled a rogue cop. … There are cops that go astray, but overwhelmingly the vast majority of officers … do the job to go out and protect the public, and yesterday reminded me of that,” said San Bernardino Police Department Lieutenant Mike Madden.

Julie Swann-Paez, an inspector with the San Bernardino County Department of Health, was attending the holiday party and reportedly receive an employee of the year award.

As the shooters stormed into the building and opened fired into the room where Julie Swann-Paez and her coworkers were inside, she was hit at least twice.

Julie Swann-Paez survived the 2 gunshot wounds and was recovering in the hospital with a broken pelvis.

Patrick Baccari, food inspector with the San Bernardino County Department of Health and a retired Air Force Reserves medic, was in the bathroom when the deadly shooting attack began.

Well standing at the paper towel dispenser when the gun blasts punched the wall in front of Patrick Baccari, sending a puff of drywall dust into his face.

After realizing what was happening, Patrick Baccari hit the floor then he and another man held the door closed with their feet until authorities arrived.

Patrick Baccari was shocked when he found out who the accused gunman was Syed Farook.

He and Syed Farook shared an office cubicle and had sat at the same table at the party earlier that morning.

Kevin Ortiz, a 24-year-old health inspector with the San Bernardino County Department of Health and who’d recently married, survived being shot 3 times.

Kevin Ortiz called his wife and father telling them that he loved them.

During the deadly shooting attack and search for the shooters, local and county buildings where reportedly placed on lockdown and security was placed on high alert in case of more attacks.

News tips into ZachNews alerted that City of Needles Mayor Edward T. Paget was at a meeting in San Bernardino, California and wondered if he was anywhere near the deadly shooting.

The official said investigators are still working to determine whether Syed Farook was in contact with any foreign terrorist organization.

Authorities are searching for the person who sold them the guns involved in the deadly shooting.

– More information has been released during a news conference on Thursday.

According to San Bernardino Police Department Chief Jarrod Burguan, the couple, Syed Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik, was clad in black tactical gear but not bulletproof vests and fired 76 more rifle rounds during a pursuit with police,  told reporters. Law enforcement officers returned about 380 rounds.

Authorities are saying that they are still trying to determine why Syed Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik attacked the Inland Regional Center.

At this moment, at least 14 people are dead and at least 21 people were wounded.

Authorities told NBC News that Syed Farook appeared to have been radicalized and that Syed Farook had been in touch with people in the Los Angeles, California area who have expressed jihadist-oriented views.

Intelligence sources tell NBC News that Syed Farook appeared to have been in some form of communication with people overseas who are persons of interest to United States authorities.

According to Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) David Bowdich, they do not know the motive and that it would be irresponsible of me and be way too early to speculate on motive.

“There was obviously a mission here. We do not know why. We do not know if this was the intended target or something triggered him,” said Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) David Bowdich.

Syed Farook traveled to Saudi Arabia at least twice, in 2013 and 2014, acquaintances and Saudi officials told NBC News.

In 2013, Syed Farook went on Umrah, a pilgrimage to Mecca.

According to Nazeem Ali, who attended Dar-Al-Uloom Al-Islamia mosque in Muscoy, California with Syed Farook, tells NBC News that Syed Farook told him that he planned to meet the fiancée he had met online — Malik — and to get married at the Black Stone in the Grand Mosque of Mecca.

Tashfeen Malik who was of Pakistani background, arrived in the United States on a K-1, or fiancée, visa and attained permanent resident status by virtue of their marriage 2 years ago.

Mustafa Kuko, Director of the Islamic Center of Riverside, another mosque Farook attended for several years, told NBC News that Syed Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik had their wedding reception at the center in 2013.

According to Farhan Khan, Syed Farook’s brother-in-law, in May 2015, Syed Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik had a baby, whom they left the 6 month old child with Syed Farook’s mother, claiming that they had a doctor’s appointment.
Syed Farook was a health inspector for the County of San Bernardino County and initially attended the office Christmas banquet that morning of Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015, but he left about 15 to 30 minutes before the shooting began around 11:00am PT.

Authorities received information by someone who was concerned about his behavior at the event and later received information about the home of Syed Farook which when authorities arrived, a police pursuit began leading later to a shootout with authorities along the 1700 San Bernardino Avenue, near Sheden Drive, in San Bernardino, California.

Both of the shooters were shot and killed after the shootout with authorities.

According to San Bernardino Police Department Chief Jarrod Burguan, Syed Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik had 2 assault rifles and 2 semiautomatic handguns that were legally purchased and registered. In total, the pair carried more than 1,400 .223 caliber rounds and 200 more 9mm rounds during the gunbattle.

The 3 pipe bombs found at the Inland Regional Center were stitched together on a remote-controlled car, but for whatever reason, it didn’t explode.

According to San Bernardino Police Department Chief Jarrod Burguan, a search of a home connected with the couple turned up 12 pipe-bomb-type devices and a cache of ammunition, including 2,000 9mm rounds, 2,500 .233 caliber rounds and several hundred .22 Long Rifle rounds.

The victims names and pictures are said to be released later on Thursday.

A candle light vigil for the victims will be held at 6:00pm PT on Thursday at the San Manuel Stadium located at 280 South E Street in San Bernardino, California.

Third person seen running from the area was not related to the deadly shooting.

Syed Farook, born in 1987, a United States of America Citizen, and was a devout Muslim, but co-workers are saying that he didn’t talk about religion.

Syed Farook was a restaurant inspector with the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health for 5 years and who was part of the party and left the party angry before the deadly shooting.

According to Hussam Ayloush, Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Syed Farook’s family is originally from Pakistan and Syed Farook was born in Illinois and raised in Southern California.

According to San Bernardino Police Department Chief Jerrod Burguan, Syed Farook was at the holiday party before the shooting and left the party “under some circumstances that were described as angry.”

The suspects left a 6 month old baby with a grandma before the deadly shooting rampage.

“We have not ruled out terrorism,” said San Bernardino Police Department Jerrod Burguan.

Authorities have been at a home on North Center Street near Pine Avenue in Redlands, California and checking the home of Syed Farook.

Overnight, investigators and bomb squad searched the home and a vehicle for any clues and other explosive devices related to the deadly shooting attack.

Bomb Squad have disabled and exploded the explosive device found inside the building.

The area around the home remain closed and the search for evidence continues at the “active crime scene”.

Schools in the San Bernardino City Unified School District will be open and back in session.

Authorities are trying to determine a motive, which could include workplace violence or terrorism.

“These people came prepared to do what they did as if they were on a mission. They were armed with long guns, not with handguns,” said San Bernardino Police Department Chief Jerrod Burguan.

According to David Bowdich, Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) Office in Los Angeles, California, we are investigating several possible motives, including workplace violence and terrorism.

NBC News is reporting that a suspect in the deadly shooting has been identified as Syed Farook and another person believed to be Syed Farook’s brother.

NBC News is also reporting that Syed Farook is also listed in records as being an inspector for the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, going back at least as far as mid-2014. Syed Farook is also listed in public records as a resident of the home in Redlands, California.

NBC News is citing name and information from several law enforcement sources. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (A.T.F.) confirmed to NBC affiliate KNBC Channel 4 that inside the building, an “explosive device” was located in a second sweep of the building and are working to disable this explosive device.

During the police pursuit of the shooters, “explosive devices” were being thrown at authorities.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) Los Angeles Director David, they have not rule out the deadly shooting could have been a terrorist attack, but that, “it is a possibility but we don’t know this yet.”

The was a San Bernardino Police Department Officer shot at, but is hospitalized with non life threatening injuries.

Reports that the shooting took place near a conference room area inside the Inland Regional Center where a holiday gathering was being held and at least 3 men walked in and began firing.

– According to the San Bernardino Police Department, at least 14 people are dead and multiple people wounded, but this information may change later.

The deadly shooting broke out at the Inland Regional Center, which serves more than 31,000 people with developmental disabilities in San Bernardino County, California and neighboring Riverside County, California.

There is people inside the building “Sheltering in Place.”

No children were involved in this deadly shooting attack.

California Governor Jerry Brown has issued flags to be lowered to half-staff in honor of the victims of the deadly shooting in San Bernardino, California.

According to the White House, United States of America President Barack Obama was briefed by Homeland Security Advisor Lisa Monaco and asked to be updated as the situation develops.

“Obviously, our hearts go out to the victims and the families,” United States of America President Barack Obama said to CBS News.

San Bernardino County courts and government buildings are closed and schools around the area are on lockdown.

The shooting was reported at around 11:00am PT on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015 inside the Inland Regional Center that serves people with developmental disabilities in the 1300 block of South Waterman Avenue in San Bernardino, California.

NBC affiliate KNBC Channel 4 Photographer Alex Vasquez made his way to the Inland Regional Center soon after the shooting and said that he saw many people with severe injuries, and that he spoke to some who were in shock.

Family members were asked to go to the Hernandez Center at 222 North Lugo Avenue, near the corner of Sierra Way and East Third Street, for information on their loved ones.
