Breaking News!!: Needles, CA: Deputies investigating the death of a resident from Bullhead City, Arizona who was found floating in the Colorado River.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at approximately 1:16pm PT On Sunday, November 18th, 2018, deputies from the Colorado River Station where dispatched to a report of a subject found floating in the Colorado River, approximately one mile south of the AVI Hotel and Casino near Needles, California.

An off-duty police officer was canoeing with a girl scout troop when he noticed what appeared to be a subject floating in the water near the California shoreline.

Deputies responded and located a white male adult, who was later identified as 56 year old Patrick Hayden, from Bullhead City Arizona.

Hayden had been reported missing by family members on November 15th, 2018.

The cause of death is pending at this time.

There were no obvious signs of trauma to the victim.

This investigation is on-going.

Breaking News!!: Fenner, CA: Fatal vehicle rollover crash along Interstate 40.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle rolled over into the center divider along Interstate 40 near Fenner, California at 6:20am PT on Monday, November 19th, 2018.

Firefighters from the San Bernardino County Fire Department’s Station 32 responded to the rollover crash.

As 6:55am PT, fire department tells Com-Center that they’ve arrived and the patient is “D.O.A.” (Dead On Arrival).

California Highway Patrol posting on their Traffic Incident Information Page that the incident is a “Fatality”.

A traffic hazard has been issued for the area along Interstate 40, please use caution when driving in this area.

A semi truck has gone off the right side of westbound Interstate 40 near the Needles Agricultural Inspection Station in Needles, California.

The California Highway Patrol reports there were no injuries on this incident and the right lane is closed.

Pershing County High School’s Mustangs from Lovelock, Nevada have won the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association’s 2A State Championship Football Game 2018 after winning against Needles High School’s Mustangs from Needles, California in a state championship football game on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.

– Pershing County Mustangs: 30

A championship trophy was handed to the Pershing County Mustangs players as their fans cheered in excitement for the win.

A trophy was also handed to the Needles Mustangs congratulating for finishing in the top two in the Class 2A in the Silver State.

ZachNews has learned that there are a few seats still available on the free community bus going to the Needles High School’s Mustangs versus Pershing County High School’s Mustangs in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, November 17th, 2018.

The Needles Unified School District Community Bus to watch the Needles Mustangs play football in the State Championships.

All community members are welcome.

The community bus leaves promptly at 9:30am PT from the Needles Unified School District District Office parking lot located off the 1900 block of Erin Drive in Needles, California.

For the remaining few seats available, no RSVP is required.

Please wear Needles Mustangs Blue!

There will be no alcohol or drugs allowed on the community bus and adults must sign a waiver.

Needles High School’s Mustangs from Needles, California will be playing against Pershing County High School’s Mustangs from Lovelock, Nevada in a state championship football game at 1:00pm PT on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 at Bishop Gorman High School, located at 5959 South Hualapai Way, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Needles High School’s Mustangs versus Pershing County High School’s Mustangs football game is part of the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association Football Playoff 2018 – Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association 2A State Football Tournament 2018.

Needles, CA: Person arrested for vehicle theft, attempted carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon after evading authorities.

Needles, CA: Person arrested for vehicle theft, attempted carjacking and assault with a deadly weapon after evading authorities.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at approximately 11:25am PT on Wednesday, November 14th, a sheriff’s lieutenant in Mohave County, Arizona attempted to stop a vehicle on westbound Interstate 40 approaching the California state line.

The driver failed to yield and fled from the lieutenant.

The vehicle crossed into California and exited the freeway at Park Moabi Road in Needles, California where it left the roadway and became stuck.

The driver and sole occupant, identified as 20 years old Christian Estudillo from Ridgecrest, California, fled on foot from the vehicle and ran into Park Moabi.

Estudillo attempted to carjack another vehicle but was unsuccessful.

He ran to another unoccupied vehicle, which had the keys left in it, and drove away.

While fleeing in the stolen vehicle, he attempted to run over witnesses.

Estudillo drove out of Park Moabi and travelled westbound on Interstate 40.

A California Highway Patrol officer located the suspect vehicle and pursued it on westbound Interstate 40.

Estudillo exited Interstate 40 at Five Mile Road driving into the desert where the vehicle became stuck and he fled on foot.

Law enforcement officers from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the California Highway Patrol, and the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office converged on the area and began to search for Estudillo.

A San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Division (SWAT) sergeant was driving an unmarked sheriff’s department vehicle on Five Mile Road when Estudillo flagged him down for a ride.

Estudillo was immediately taken into custody without incident.

During the investigation it was determine Estudillo stole the first vehicle he was driving from a business near Interstate 40 and Arizona State Route 95.

Estudillo was transported to the Colorado River Station jail where he was booked for CVC 10851(a) – Vehicle Theft, PC 664/215(a) – Attempted Carjacking, and PC 245(a)(1) – Assault With A deadly Weapon. His bail was set at $125,000.
