Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station is having their 3rd Annual Christmas Angel Tree Drive.

The wonderful, decorated and lighted Angel Tree is on displayed inside the lobby of the Colorado River Station located at 1111 Bailey Avenue near J Street.

Come on inside the lobby, pull a tag or more than one tag from the Angel Tree and purchase the wished gift for the child listed.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, the kids chosen for the Angel Tree were provided from the schools in Needles, California as well as in the Havasu Landing, California; Parker Dam, California and Big River, California areas.

*** If you would like to grant a kid’s gift wish, here’s some information from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station for you need to know: ***

– The child’s clothing size, shoe size, and other personal information will be listed on the tag.

– All gifts are given anonymously.

– Please put gifts are from “Santa” or leave blank.

– Please wrap your gift(s) and attach the tag you took from the Angel Tree to the gift; this is how we identify who the gift belongs to and where it will be delivered.

– Please drop off the gift(s) to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station on or before Wednesday, December 14th, 2022, and deputies will deliver the gifts on Thursday, December 22th, 2022.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, deputies along with the help of the community were able to give approximately 155 gifts to local kids for Christmas in 2021.

This year, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station hopes they can help approximately 200 local kids with gifts.

Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station say they enjoy delivering the children’s gifts they wished for, and hope that people in our community can make this year’s Angel Tree more successful than last year.
