Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed to ZachNews that a “lethal force encounter” on Friday, November 25th, 2022 is connected to triple homicide house fire that occurred in La Sierra South, California.

According to an email from San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Public Information Officer Gloria Huerta, “I can confirm our lethal force encounter in Needles yesterday is in fact connected to the Riverside PD case. The female occupant of the vehicle is safe with law enforcement. This is a multi-agency investigation and it’s taking time to sort through and confirm all the details. I really appreciate your patience. I expect more information later today at which time I will release further info.”

Despite what other news outlets are reporting, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Public Information Officer Gloria Huerta didn’t provided an approximate or exact time of the incident, an exact location if within or outside the city limits, details as to what occurred leading up to “lethal force encounter,” and details as to if the suspect was transported to the local hospital or died at the scene.

Well deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station in Needles, California were unable to provide with any details regarding any “lethal force encounter” incident, ZachNews is following up of some leads that have been coming in from the community; reporting some sore of an incident involving deputies near railroad tracks that occurred during the afternoon Friday near the area of Kelso, California; which is over 80 miles west out of the city limits of Needles, California in the Mojave Desert Preserve.

This chain of a incidents that reportedly ended in the San Bernardino County, California area all began hours earlier during the morning of Friday.

According to Riverside Police Department Officer Ryan Railsback, officers from the Riverside Police Department conducted a welfare check at the home along the 11200 block of Price Court between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. PT; regarding some sort of disturbance that was reported between a man and a woman near a vehicle.

Riverside Police Department Officer Ryan Railsback said that before officers arrived and shortly after that call, some calls came into our dispatch center regarding a fire or smoke being seen at the same location.

At 11:01 a.m. PT, firefighters from the Riverside Fire Department responded to the scene, and when firefighters arrived saw smoke and flames coming from the front of the house, and were alerted that someone might be inside, and quickly searched the house fire.

Few minutes later, firefighters found 3 people in a room, pulled them out of the house fire, and were pronounced dead.

“They (firefighters) notified our officers they found 3 people deceased inside the house,” said Riverside Police Department Officer Ryan Railsback.

The names of the victims have not yet been released, and there’s also no information regarding a suspect or suspects.

According to Riverside Police Department Officer Ryan Railsback, “We do believe they are victims of a homicide, but can’t say other than that.”
