Mohave Valley, Arizona: A town hall meeting regarding Proposition 310 will be held inside Mohave Valley Fire Department’s Station 81 located at 1451 Willow Drive just west of Arizona State Route 95 starting at 6:00 p.m. MT on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022.
According to the Arizona Secretary of State website, Proposition 310 is a ballot measure coming up for voters in Arizona in November 2022 that the law would establish a fire district safety fund to be funded via an increase of one-tenth of one percent to the state’s transaction privilege (sales) and use tax from Sunday, January 1st, 2023 through Tuesday, December 31st, 2042.
Proposition 310 is going to be on the voter’s ballot in Arizona during the upcoming election in November 2022.
According to the Arizona Secretary of State website, a “Yes” vote on Proposition 310 shall have the effect of establishing a fire district safety fund; increasing the transaction privilege (sales) and use tax by one-tenth of one percent from Sunday, January 1st, 2023 through Tuesday, December 31st, 2042 to pay for the fund; and distributing monies from the fund to fire districts on a monthly basis; and a “No” vote on Proposition 310 shall have the effect of retaining existing law on tax rates and funding for fire districts.

The town hall meeting is a collaborative with Professional Fire Fighters of Arizona (PFFA), Arizona Fire Chiefs Association (AFCA) and Arizona Fire District Association (AFDA).
