When the call came in, the Saturn two-door couple had water flowing over the hood. The driver had managed to self-rescue to a nearby embankment.
This is the third rescue at this location in the past three weeks.
He had traveled past a physical reflective barricade stating “ROAD CLOSED” and drove past a reflective sign (seen in the video) that states “DO NOT ENTER WHEN FLOODED”. The driver of the vehicle, along with a second vehicle that had passed the “ROAD CLOSED” barricade were cited.
Great work to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office’s Search and Rescue.
