United States: Law enforcement agencies across the United States will be conducting Operation Dry Water during the Independence Day Weekend 2022.
According to the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators, over the July 4th holiday weekend, from Saturday, July 2nd, 2022 to Monday, July 4th, 2022, law enforcement agencies will be on the water educating boaters on safe boating practices as part of the annual Operation Dry Water weekend.
Operation Dry Water (ODW) is a national awareness and enforcement campaign to reduce the number of alcohol- and drug-related incidents and fatalities through increased recreational boater awareness and heightened enforcement on boating under the influence laws.

All law enforcement agencies ask the public planning to enjoy boating for the Independence Day Weekend 2022 to be responsible and keep everyone safe by not drinking alcohol while on the water or operating a boat after you have consumed alcohol.
