Needles, California: Members of the Needles City Council voted unanimously to pursuit through the right channels for the City of Needles to possibly adopt a different time zone during their regular meeting held on Tuesday, June 28th, 2022.

Agenda Item 7: Accept the bid from Pacific Play Systems for the purchase and installation of a Merry-Go-Round, Tri-Spring Fling, Double Spring Rider and four (4) benches at Duke Watkins Park using grant funding from the California Department of Parks and Recreation contract C9803078 in an amount not to exceed $97,775; and the purchase and installation of one (1) main playground structure and ground covering for Jack Smith Park in an amount not to exceed $67,445 using Per Capita Funds from SB-68 grant contract C9801552 and authorize staff to issue a Notice of Award and Notice to Proceed.
