San Antonio, Texas: The San Antonio Police Department have arrested a man during the evening on Wednesday, June 29th, 2022 for the murder of News 4 San Antonio and Fox 29 Account Executive Christopher Olivarez in September 2021.

On Saturday, Sept. 25th, 2021, Christopher Olivarez was found dead with multiple stab wounds in the front yard of his home in the 300 block of Kirk Place.

Officials from the San Antonio Police Department announced yesterday the arrest of 20 year old Sebastian Hernandez, saying his DNA was found on the murder weapon.

After the killing, San Antonio Police Department say detectives believe Hernandez fled the scene in Christopher Olivarez’s white Lexus which the vehicle was found days later last fall outside city limits.

According to the Sinclair stations, Christopher Olivarez worked at WOAI-TV News 4 San Antonio and KABB-TV Fox 29 from 2012 to 2016 as an account executive, and would have turned 41 years old back on Sunday, February 6th, 2022.

Family, friends and co-workers describe Christopher Olivarez as a giver and happy-go-lucky person who although didn’t have kids of his own loved his nephew.
