Orbeez are gel balls that range in size from 6 to 8 mm and are shot from a gel-ball gun or an airsoft gun. These guns have the potential to cause fear or panic in that some of these gel blaster guns could be mistaken for an actual firearm and cause serious injury if shot at someone’s face.
Zubiate was arrested and booked into the Colorado River jail for Penal Code section 242, battery. He was later released with a promise to appear in court.
The juvenile suspect and his parent were also issued citations with a promise to appear in the Victorville Juvenile Court.
