Needles, California: A local man arrested and local women issued citation and released with future court date after deputies served search warrant on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022 and discovered stolen property, drugs and a weapon.
According to a press release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at approximately 7:35 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department served a search warrant near the 100 block of North K Street.
While at the residence, deputies contacted Carlos Lopez and Samantha Garcia. During the investigation, Garcia was found to be in violation of H&S 11364(A), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and
Lopez was found to be in violation of PC 29800(A)(1), Felon in Possession of a Firearm, PC 496(A), Possession of Stolen Property, and H&S 11377(A), Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Garcia was issued a citation at the scene and released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, with a future court date.
Lopez was arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Lopez remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a bail amount of $100,000, awaiting a court hearing.
