Homer, California: A crash involving a vehicle laying on side along eastbound Interstate 40 just east of Water Road.

The crash was reported at 9:57 p.m. PT on Monday, June 20th, 2022.

Medical Engine 32 from San Bernardino County Fire District 32 along with Medical Ambulance 31 is responding.

A and G Towing Service has been called to respond to the crash.

Please drive with caution through the area of the crash.

As of 10:10 p.m. PT, Comm-Center reports that California Highway Patrol is on scene and said one person with laceration to the head. Medical Engine 32 asked for E.T.A. for air ship in case if needed.

As of 10:11 p.m. PT, Comm-Center reports E.T.A. is Careflight 6 is 19 minutes if need the air ship.

As of 10:23 p.m. PT, Medical Ambulance 31 tells Comm-Center they’re on scene and a single vehicle on side.

As of 10:25 p.m. PT, Medical Ambulance 31 tells Comm-Center to launch air ship. Medical Engine 32 that egos request for an air ship to be launch.

As of 10:30 p.m. PT, Medical Ambulance 31 tells Comm-Center and Medical Engine 32 that Careflight 6 is 12 minutes out and let California Highway Patrol about possible landing near by.

As of 10:33 p.m. PT, Medical Engine 32 tells Comm-Center that they’ve arrives, and be handling Essex I.C. (Incident Command).

As of 10:35 p.m. PT, Careflight 6 medical helicopter is shown on Flight Tracker 24 radar in route to the location of the crash.

As of 10:40 p.m. PT, Careflight 6 medical helicopter is shown on Flight Tracker 24 radar is near the location of the crash preparing to land to transport patient.

As of 10:44 p.m. PT, Careflight 6 medical helicopter is shown on Flight Tracker 24 radar has landed near location of the crash to transport patient.

As of 11:10 p.m. PT, Careflight 6 medical helicopter is shown on Flight Tracker 24 radar has taken off with patient from near the location of the crash and is heading towards Las Vegas, Nevada. Medical Engine 32 and Medical Ambulance 31 have been cleared from the location. No more further details over the scanner about the patient’s condition.

As of 11:43 p.m. PT, Careflight 6 medical helicopter is shown on Flight Tracker 24 radar has landed with patient at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
