Needles, California: The City of Needles’ Memorial Day 2022 Service will return on Monday, May 30th, 2022 after 2 year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The service will start at 11:00 a.m. PT at the Needles Riverview Cemetery, located at 1101 East Broadway (U.S. Route 95) just south of Interstate 40.
As like in past years, Natalie Johnson of Fat Cat in the Hat DJ will be coordinating the observances which will have music, messages, and readings of the lists of names of all of the man and woman who serviced and given their lives in our military as well as the man and woman who protect and save lives in our law enforcement and in our fire department.
ZachNews may broadcast live at ZachNews on Facebook (Unless the heat affects equipment or Facebook censors American patriotic music like in past years interrupting the live broadcast) or record the service to post later on ZachNews.
According to Needles City Manager Rick Daniels, the Needles Riverview Cemetery welcomes all tax-exempt donations to help support either the Riverview and/or Old Pioneer Cemeteries.
Donations are being sought for the replacement of the large American flags that previously lined the cemetery roads and anyone interested in making a donation is encouraged to contact Cheryl Sallis, Cemetery Operations Manager, at: 1 (760) 326-2113 Ext 115.
For more information, please contact the City of Needles at: 1 (760) 326-2113.
Please come our and pay respect to the many people who served, protected, given their lives, and saved lives for their community and country.
May we never forget and always give thanks.
