Needles, California: A semi truck with trailer crashes into the back of a semi truck trailer along westbound Interstate 40 just east of the Needles Agriculture Inspection Station.

The crash was reported before 11:00 a.m. PT on Sunday, May 29th, 2022.

San Bernardino County Fire District Station 32 and Medical Ambulance 31 are on scene.

Reports of at least 2 delayed patients, and are in route to Colorado River Medical Center.

Beer cargo from the Fox Freight semi truck spilled onto the right shoulder and hillside well the front trailer of the other semi truck reportedly carrying frozen chicken appears to have remain inside despite damage to the back of the trailer.

The right lane as well as the right shoulder along westbound Interstate 40 is closed, and motorists are getting by on the left lane as traffic is backed up to Park Moabi Road.

Multiple tow trucks crews are on scene working to clear the wreckage and clean up the mess.
