Needles, California: The City of Needles is inviting the community to help tend gravesites and place American flag on veterans’ gravesites at Needles Riverview Cemetery during 11th Annual Decoration Day being held on Friday, May 27th, 2022.

According to Needles City Manager Rick Daniels, this will be an opportunity for the community to come out to tend to the gravesites of family members and friends, and veterans’ gravesite will be decorated with the traditional white cross and American flag to honor them for their service to our country.

Those interested in participating are invited to be at the Needles Riverview Cemetery, located at 1101 East Broadway (U.S. Route 95) at 7:00 a.m. PT.

The City of Needles is telling those interested to please bring your own hand-tools (i.e. tool to make a hole for the gravesite flag, clippers, gas powered weed eaters, etc.), garbage bags, and of course, don’t forget the water to keep you hydrated.

Garbage receptacles will be available on-site for disposal of trash.

This is all getting everything ready and presentable for Memorial Day 2022 ceremony being held on Monday; more information coming up on ZachNews.
