Breaking News: Needles, CA: Semi truck with trailer has jackknifed along westbound Interstate 40 just west of Park Moabi Road.

Needles, California: A semi truck with trailer has jackknifed along westbound Interstate 40 just west of Park Moabi Road.

The report came in at 1:34 a.m. PT on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022.

Firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire District Station 32 are on sense and reports the jackknifed is blocking the #2 Lane.

As of 2:11 a.m. PT, reports that the trailer is carrying 20,000 LBS of unknown items, and A&G towing service has been called to response with a heavy tow to the incident.

As of 2:13 a.m. PT, Medical Engine 32 and Medical Ambulance 31 has left the incident, and is available for calls.

As of 2:19 a.m. PT, reports that the incident is not a traffic collision but a “1126 Only” which is the California Highway Patrol code for “Abandoned Vehicle, Occupied.”
