Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station has announced on Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 a crackdown on illegal parking on south U.S. Route 95.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, deputies have responded to various complaints about illegal parking on Highway 95 South, and deputies have responded to these complaints, and have written numerous citations for illegal parking.
The illegal parking issue has been a big topic of discussion during past Needles City Council meetings; mainly over semi trucks illegal parking along U.S. Route 95 between Interstate 40 and Spikes Road, and many reports of human waste and trash being left behind in the area afterwards.
If you see vehicles parked illegally, please call the non-emergency dispatch number at: 1 (760) 956-5001 for a deputy to respond.

Issues of illegal parking as well as human waste and trash being left behind afterwards have been also reported along Ice Plant Road near the Needles Towne Center.
The City of Needles have stated that they’re activity working on addressing that issue.
