Breaking News: Needles, CA: Firefighters put out a junk and vegetation fire that was burning behind Motel 6.

Needles, California: Firefighters from the San Bernardino County Fire District’s Station 32 put out junk and vegetation fire that was burning behind Motel 6 at 1420 J Street.

The fire was reported at around 8:54 p.m. PT on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 in a desert ravine that has seen several past junk and vegetation fires, including a fire in the same area behind Motel 6 over the weekend.

Firefighters arrived, went down into the desert ravine area, and was able to put out the fire in a few minutes.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station was on scene, and say that somebody is burning junk that’s dumped in the desert.
