During Approval of the Agenda, Needles City Manager Rick Daniels told members of the Needles City Council and public that he would like Item 9 to be removed from the agenda, and instead have discussions with the Needles Chamber of Commerce about what’s a firm dateline would be if it was extended by the Needles City Council. Also, due to a Conflict of Interest with Member Wade Evans II and City Vice Mayor Paget M.D. in which they would have to recused themselves from this item, this will mean there’s a lack of quorum to do any vote. The item will return at the next meeting.

Later during the meeting, Member Longacre told members of the Needles City Council and public that Merlin Willis is applying to the Needles Park and Recreation Commission.

Regarding Agenda Item 9: Members of the Needles City Council has postponed again a decision on declare or extend Needles Chamber of Commerce agreement and lease on Needles Visitor Center. The item will be placed on the agenda for the next regular meeting due to a lack of quorum with two of the members having to excused themselves from this item and due to the Needles City Manager Rick Daniels wanting to discuss with the Needles Chamber of Commerce what a form dateline would be if it was extended.
