Needles, California: The City of Needles has announced that “Mask Are Required” entering buildings after the California Department of Public Health issued on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 a mask mandate across California.
According to the California Department of Public Health, the mandate will last through Saturday, January 15th, 2022, and comes after a 47 percent increase in COVID-19 case rates and a 14 percent increase in hospitalizations after Thanksgiving Day 2021.
Signs were posted outside the of the Needles City Council Chambers off Bailey Avenue announcing the face mask requirements before entering the building.
The California Department of Public Health has posted more information on what people locally and across California need to know and do under this new mask mandate.

The California Department of Public Health will reassess the mask mandate after Saturday, January 15th, 2022 and make new recommendations in response to the pandemic.
