Downtown Needles, CA: Gifts, Christmas decorations and boxes of old rockers greeted community shoppers during the Needles Museum Community Thrift Store’s Sidewalk Sale.

Downtown Needles, California: The Needles Museum Community Thrift Store held another sidewalk sale starting on Saturday, December 4th, 2021.

Among the variety of different items and little knick-knacks that were set up along the sidewalk, lots of Christmas decorations, knick-knacks, dishware and clothing as well as boxes of old rockers, including the Oscar Mayer Wiener song, all being sold for just a dollar which was the hot seller for music rocker collectors.

Organizer of the sidewalk sale said they had a great turnout of shoppers, and thanked everybody who came by and shopped during the sidewalk sale and hope they come by again to visit the museum and thrift store.

The Needles Regional Museum, is where you can learn about the history and culture that made our small Colorado River Route 66 railroad desert community of Needles, California the “Gateway to California.”

You can also view the wonderful statue of Peanuts’ comic strip character Spike inside the Needles Regional Museum.

Spike is Snoopy’s brother who lives outside of Needles, California and is a character in Charles M. Schulz comic strip Peanuts with Woodstock, Snoopy, and Charlie Brown.

You can also purchase nice gifts related to Route 66 and the Needles, California community inside the Needles Regional Museum, including the Needles Regional Museum’s 2022 calendars which shows bits of our community’s history along with wonderful old pictures.

Right next door is the Needles Museum Community Thrift Store also known as the Community Thrift Store, is where you can find a variety of different items and little knick-knacks as well as clothes, shoes, cups and dishes, books and much more, and of the purchases helps with the wonderful Needles Regional Museum.

The Needles Regional Museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST Monday through Saturday, and Needles Museum Community Thrift Store is open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST Monday through Saturday.

The Needles Regional Museum and Community Thrift Store is located at 929 Front Street near G Street, just across the street from Santa Fe Park.
