Fenner, California: A semi truck went off westbound Interstate 40, under a bridge and onto a railroad track just east of Goffs Road.
The crash was reported at 7:50 p.m. PST on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 of a semi truck wedged under a bridge over the railroad tracks.
Medical Engine 32 and Medical Engine 53 from San Bernardino County Fire District along with Medical Ambulance 31 and California Highway Patrol is responding.
Medical Engine 18 from the San Bernardino County Fire District has been moved up to Station 32.
California Highway Patrol reports the reporting party unable to see if semi truck is on the railroad tracks, and states one party is near the semi truck, but unknown if that is the driver.
California Highway Patrol also reports the reporting party states semi truck was swerving prior to crash.
As of 8:07 p.m. PST, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway precaution issued related to this crash.
As of 8:20 p.m. PST, Comm-Center reports all tracks are being shut down.
As of 8:23 p.m. PST, Medical Engine 32 reports to Medical Ambulance 31 they can’t locate, and they’re searching along Goffs Road following the railroad. Reported party is stating to California Highway Patrol the semi truck is under bridge.
As of 8:27 p.m. PST, Medical Engine 32 telling Medical Ambulance 31 to make access from gas station.
As of 8:35 p.m. PST, Medical Engine 32 tells Comm-Center is not a crash, non-injuries and “somehow” got under the bridge and is on a railroad track; unclear which number railroad track the semi truck is on.
As of 8:49 p.m. PST, Station 32 is becoming available, and Medical Engine 18 is returning back to their station.
