Essex, California: A vehicle has went down an embankment and crashed threw a fence along westbound Interstate 40 near Quail Spring Wash.

The crash occurred at 9:29 a.m. PT on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2021 of an unknown type vehicle went off the freeway, down an embankment and threw a fence, and with the victim still in the vehicle.

Medical Engine 32 from San Bernardino County Fire District Station 32 and Medical Ambulance 31 was responding.

As of 10:26 a.m. PT, Medical Ambulance 31 reports to Comm-Center they can handle patient, cancel Medical Engine 32.

As of 11:02 a.m. PT, Medical Ambulance 31 reports to Comm-Center they’re transporting a patient to C.R.M.C. Needles.

No further information on the condition of the patient.
