Needles, California: The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe continues their 45th Annual Fort Mojave Indian Days celebration and parade being held on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021.

Paying tribute to the Tribe’s strength and resilience, the theme for this year’s event is “Mojave Strong – Our resilience overcomes any challenge.”

The celebration is free and opened to the public, to learn and celebrate the history, customs and traditions of the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe.

Many of the activities and entertainment will be held at the Tribal Village Park on the Fort Mojave Reservation near 500 Merriman Avenue in Needles, California.

Some of the activities and entertainment included royalty pageant; baby pageant; men’s bird singing and women’s bird dancing contests; culture workshops; frybread eating contest; nature walk; and tournaments for youth male shinny, wahoo, golf, tug-o-war, horseshoes and peon.
