Needles, California: The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe will be having a parade for the 45th Annual Fort Mojave Indian Days starting at 10:00 a.m. PT on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021.

Paying tribute to the Tribe’s strength and resilience, the theme for this year’s event is “Mojave Strong – Our resilience overcomes any challenge.”

The parade bring a wide range of history, culture and even awareness as well as floats, marching bands and performances that brings crowds of people each year lining up along West Broadway.

Street closures will occur along the parade route, which will include the following:

  • Front Street from K Street to H Street for Parade Line Up
  • I Street from Front Street to West Broadway for the Start of the Parade
  • West Broadway from I Street to D Street for the Main Parade Route
  • D Street from West Broadway to Front Street for the Parade Finish

Detour around the parade includes the following:

  • J Street, Third Street and either D Street or C Street
  • J Street, Interstate 40 and either East Broadway or U.S. Route 95

Motorists driving through the area should drive with caution as there will be a lot of people in the area going to and leaving later from the parade.

The parade on Saturday for Fort Mojave Indian Days will be broadcast live at ZachNews on Facebook starting at 10:00 a.m. PT.
