Needles, California: The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe will be having their 45th Annual Fort Mojave Indian Days celebration and parade being held on Friday, October 22nd, 2021 and Saturday, October 23rd, 2021.

The celebration is free and opened to the public, to learn and celebrate the history, customs and traditions of the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe.

Many of the activities and entertainment will be held in the California Village area at 500 Merriman Avenue in Needles, California, except for the parade which is held along West Broadway in Downtown Needles, California.

Some of the activities and entertainment included royalty pageant; baby pageant; men’s bird singing and women’s bird dancing contests; culture workshops; frybread eating contest; nature walk; and tournaments for youth male shinny, wahoo, golf, tug-o-war, horseshoes and peon.

The parade will start at 10:00 a.m. PT on Saturday along West Broadway, between I Street and D Street.

Each year the parade is very well-attended so arrive early, and be prepared for street closures along the parade route.

The parade on Saturday for Fort Mojave Indian Days will be broadcast live at ZachNews on Facebook starting at 10:00 a.m. PT.
