Needles, California: Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station are seeking information from the public after playground and skate park at Duke Watkins Park was vandalized on Friday, October1st, 2021.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at approximately 8:25 a.m. PT, deputies responded to the Duke Watkins Park for a report of graffiti and vandalism. An unknown suspect used a marking device to tag the bathroom and skate park area. Additionally, fixtures in the men’s restroom were damaged and tagged. Total damage is estimated at $20,000.00.
