Needles, California: An adjourned meeting of the Needles Planning Commission was held on Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021 inside the Needles City Council Chambers.

Members of the Needles Planning Commission unanimously voted to approve the agenda for tonight’s meeting.

A public hearing to consider recommending approval of a Conditional Use Permit for a two-phase, cannabis cultivation facility, phase one existing building, 4,700 square feet, and phase two, a new 10,800 sq. ft. building, at 1150 W. Broadway, also known as Assessor’s Parcel Number 0186-093-18-0000 in the C-2 General Commercial Zone.

Approve the Findings of Facts, and Resolution No.09-22-2021 PC recommending approval of a two-phase, cannabis cultivation facility, phase one existing building, 4,700 square feet, and phase two, a new 10,800 sq. ft. building, at 1150 W. Broadway, also known as Assessor’s Parcel Number 0186-093-18-0000 in the C-2 General Commercial Zone.

This this was the site of an old gardening nursery business along West Broadway near I Street in the downtown area.

Members of the Needles Planning Commission unanimously voted to approve the Findings of Facts, and Resolution No.09-22-2021 PC, with the amended condition of and include the vinyl privacy slants along the metal chain-link fencing along the back alleyway.

Needles Planning Commissioner Member Robert McDaniel had to excuse himself from this agenda item due to he might have a conflict of interest.
