Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station has released publicly information regarding a local man arrested for vehicle registration fraud that occurred on Thursday, September 16th, 2021.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at approximately 4:49 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of E St. and Downey St. During a records check of the vehicle, it was discovered the vehicle displayed a false license plate. The driver, Luke Harvey was taken into custody without incident. Harvey was arrested and booked into the Needles Jail for CVC 4463(A)(2), Vehicle Registration Fraud, where he is currently being held on a $25,000 bail, awaiting a court hearing.
