Oatman, Arizona: People lined along historic Route 66 on Tuesday, July 20th, 2021 to meet man dress as Bearsun as he walks up Black Mountains on his journey to New York well raising money for multiple charities.
The ZachNews Team was there as Bearsun was found along the whiny and narrow portion of historic Route 66 just north of Oatman, Arizona.
During the walking, several vehicles stopped and parked along the dirt lots along Route 66 to meet Bearsun as be enjoyed the beautiful Black Mountains and meeting great people as well as wild burros that are seen along the way along Route 66.
Many of the people, young and old and even families with children, all wanting to show their love, support and appreciation of Bearsun doing all this to help raise money that help people and the environment.
Many people continue to offer Bearsun food and drinking water despite Bearsun having a limit to what he can carry on his journey.
As the ZachNews Team headed by home, Bearsun was last seen carefully walking along side the Route passing Gold Road Mine and starting to walk up towards Sitgreaves Pass which the elevation is 3,550.
Currently, Bearsun is reportedly resting for the night at an undisclosed location.
In the next 24 hours or less, Bearsun will be walking down the Black mountains towards Cool Springs Station before continuing along historic Route 66 towards Kingman, Arizona.
Jesse Larios started his journey across country to New York City, New York from in the Little Tokyo area of Downtown Los Angeles, California back on Monday, July 5th, 2021, and plans to walk along from California towards Chicago, Illinois than heading east towards New York City, New York; all with the goal of raising money for the Autism Society for America, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Active Minds, Villa Esperanza and Environmental Defends through his walking journey.
Jesse has the other walks like this in the past including a walk from San Francisco, California to Los Angeles, California as well as participated in the Los Angeles Marathon in 2019 and 2020.
