Homer, California: The California Highway Patrol has released the identity of the motorcyclist in fatal motorcycle crash along eastbound Interstate 40 just east of Water Road that occurred on Thursday, July 15th, 2021.
California Highway Patrol Officer Clinton Burrows tells ZachNews that the motorcyclist has been identified as 66 year old Thomas Gluvna of Show Low, Arizona.
In a news release to ZachNews, the California Highway Patrol said, “At approximately 14:24 hours, party #1 (Thomas Gluvna) was riding vehicle #1 (2021 Harley Davidson) eastbound on Interstate 40, east of Water Road, in the #1 lane at an unknown speed. For an undetermined reason, party #1 allowed vehicle #1 to veer to the right. Vehicle #1 continued in a southeasterly direction across the #2 lane, the right shoulder and into the open desert where vehicle #1 became airborne. Party #1 was ejected from. Vehicle #1 and sustained fatal injuries. Vehicle #1 came to rest on its side in the open desert to the south of the roadway.”
