Homer, California: Motorcycle crash has occurred along eastbound Interstate 40 just east of Water Road.
The call came in at around 2:27 p.m. PT on Thursday, July 15th, 2021.
Reports that the motorcycle driver may have been thrown off the motorcycle.
Medical Engine 32 from San Bernardino County Fire Department’s Station 32 is responding, and Medical Ambulance 31 is also responding by is delayed by construction traffic.
Medical Engine 32 tells Comm-Center that for an estimated time arrival for a Careflight helicopter.
As of 2:45 p.m. PT, Medical Engine 32 tells Comm-Center they are on scene, one motorcyclist down and C.P.R. being done by California Highway Patrol.
As of 2:59 p.m. PT, Medical Engine 32 tells Comm-Center that the driver of the motorcycle has been pronounced dead on scene by paramedics.
Medical Engine 32 tells Comm-Center to contact San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Coroner’s Office to respond.
