Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station has released public information regarding the man they located along the 1900 block of Rio Vista on Sunday, July 11th, 2021 following an active search of a residential neighborhood off Balboa Avenue.
In their public weekly arrest post on Twitter, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station identified the man as 27 years old Joseoh Vasauez from Needles, California.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, “On Sunday. July 11. 2021. at approximately 6:05 am. deputies conducted a pedestrian check in the area of Balboa Street and J Street. Contact was made with Joseph Vasquez, who fled on foot from deputies. After a foot pursuit, Vasquez was located in a house in the 1900 block of Rio Vista. Vasquez was found to be in violation of PC 148(a)(1) resisting arrest and HS 113770(a) possession of methamphetamine. Vasquez was subsequently arrested, book at the Colorado River Station jail. Vasquez was issued a citation and later released from the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department with a pending court date.”
