Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department continues their search for missing Robert Miller.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, 84 year old Robert Miller went missing at 5:26 p.m. PT on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 from the area of the Beach Drive, between Needles Marina RV Park and Jack Smith Memorial Park.
On Sunday, a command center was set up near Jack Smith Memorial Park as deputies and volunteers launched through the desert by ATV vehicles and patrol vehicles, along the Colorado River by patrol boat and over the community by helicopter but no signs of missing Robert Miller.
Since Monday morning, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station said they are continuing their search for missing Robert Miller but their command center and ATV vehicles was no longer being used and was put away in their back parking lot at the sheriff station.
As of Thursday, May 13th, 2021, no further information from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department regarding the search for missing Robert Miller, other that their original Twitter post from a few days ago stating the search continues.
Flyers of missing Robert Miller have been posted throughout the community, including on street light poles and at local businesses in the Downtown Needles, California area.
Many in the community hope that Robert is found safely soon, and send their prayers and support to the family and friends of Robert Miller as the search continues.
Robert is a black male, 5 foot 10 inches tall, approximately 130-150 pounds, bald with a grey beard.
Robert was last seen wearing a black or grey beanie with green line on the back, a black with white stripes shirt with a #23 on the sleeve or chest and dark jeans.
Robert suffers from dementia and serious medical needs.
Robert was last seen Saturday in the area around Needles Marina RV Park and Jack Smith Memorial Park in Needles, California.
