Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is searching for missing Robert Miller.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, 84 year old Robert Miller went missing late in the afternoon on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 from the area of Beach Drive.

Robert is a black male, 5 foot 10 inches tall, approximately 130-150 pounds, bald with a grey beard.

Robert was last seen wearing a black or grey beanie with green line on the back, a black with white stripes shirt with a #23 on the sleeve or chest and dark jeans.

Robert suffers from dementia and serious medical needs.

Robert was last seen in the area around Needles Marina RV Park and Jack Smith Memorial Park in Needles, California.

On Sunday, a helicopter from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department was seen flying over the community making the announcement of the search for missing Robert Miller.

Just a few blocks away from where Robert Miller went missing, a command center was set up for search team volunteers and their vehicles to search the area.

Crews in their patrol vehicles and off road vehicles were seen search the area south of Jack Smith Memorial Park along the dirt roadways leading to the Colorado River and railroad tracks.

People driving to enjoy the Colorado River were alerted of the search for missing Robert Miller, giving out flyers to people in the area.

More volunteers will be coming back at 9:00 a.m. PT on Monday to continue the search for missing Robert Miller.
