Needles, CA: Deputy Kenneth Sutton from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station receives Lifesaving Award.

Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has announced that Deputy Kenneth Sutton from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station has received the Lifesaving Award.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, “On July 21, 2020, Deputy Sutton from the Colorado River Station went to a medical aid call for a man who was not breathing. When Sutton arrived, he found the man on the floor of his motel room, unresponsive and without a pulse. He immediately began CPR and after about a minute he began to have a pulse but was still unresponsive. The Fire Department arrived shortly after and transported the man to the hospital.”

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department as well as ZachNews and our community thanks Deputy Sutton for his quick actions and training that help the man survived.
