Incident Report(s):

Needles City Manager Rick Daniels said that he had no incidents to report.

Needles City Manager Rick Daniels then spoke about a power pole replacement program that was happening; removing the power lines off of the hill between D Street and E Street (North of Third Street), including the power pole that was leading, and we are just waiting for the telephone company to take their lines off; I think the cable company off theirs off already.

Needles City Manager Rick Daniels then spoke about the wastewater treatment plant, we are going to see next month an increase in EUSI; it should be minimum, meaning less than $10,000. We had an employee who had a medical problem that he was gone for a while, and then he had family medical problems so EUSI have stepped in and done a number of his tasks.

Needles City Manager Rick Daniels then spoke about meeting earlier this week (Monday 2/1) with the owner of the new Hampton Inn, and they’re going to have a groundbreaking on Tuesday, February 16th, 2021, and they’re going to try to build that within a year, but they’re hoping to open in April 2022. There will be a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Hampton Inn in Needles, California.

Stay tuned to ZachNews as more details including time of the groundbreaking ceremony comes in, and ZachNews will be at the groundbreaking ceremony.
