Weather radar from ABC 15 Arizona shows possible light snow in the areas around our small desert community by the Colorado River.
According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada, snowflakes may be falling in the higher elevation of the near by desert mountains, but the temperature is too warm for the snowflakes to stick to the ground at the lower elevation.
Motorists should drive with caution as roadways in these wet and cold areas may find slick driving conditions, especially driving west, south or east of Needles, California.
According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada, it’s possible that the near by mountain peaks may find snow on top if the elevation is high enough.
The public should continue to monitor the National Weather Service website (https://www.weather.gov) and radio as well as local weather reports for any additional weather related information or for any warnings are issued.
