Colorado River Tri-State: Winter storms overnight brought snow to the near by desert mountains on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021.

ZachNews Photojournalist Zachary Lopez captured on camera these pictures of the beautiful American flag waving in the breeze in front of the beach along the Colorado River and snowy mountains to the east in Mohave County, Arizona.

Early Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada told ZachNews that snowflakes may be falling in the higher elevation of the near by desert mountains, but the temperature is too warm for the snowflakes to stick to the ground at the lower elevation.

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada also told ZachNews that motorists should drive with caution as roadways in these wet and cold areas may find slick driving conditions, especially driving west, south or east of Needles, California.

According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, Nevada, another chance of showers is possible this week, starting Thursday Night and lasting until possibly Friday Night.
