Laughlin, Nevada: The Clark County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the man in fatal vehicle crash along Needles Highway that occurred early in the morning on January 1st, 2021.

According to the Clark County Coroner’s Office, the man is identified as 50 year old Salvador Elizondo from Bullhead City, Arizona, and his cause of death was blunt force trauma and it was ruled an accident.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Traffic Bureau released these pictures from the scene of the fatal vehicle crash along Needles Highway.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that a 2014 Lexus was traveling on Needles Highway at a high rate of speed when the male driver failed to maintain his travel land and left the road.

The vehicle overturned and ejected the unrestrained driver, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The fatal vehicle crash was the 1st traffic-related fatality in Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction for the year 2021.
