Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station has released publicly information regarding deputies arrested a man from Victorville during traffic stop for a no-bail parole violation, felon in possession of a firearm and narcotics that occurred on Friday, December 25th, 2020.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at approximately 11:04 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Bailey Ave. and Erin Dr., in the city of Needles, for a vehicle code violation.
During the traffic stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted in which deputies contacted a passenger in the vehicle, later identified as Jabari Buchanan, who was in possession of a firearm, drug paraphernalia and a controlled substance. During the investigation, it was revealed Buchanan had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation.
Buchanan was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and his warrant. Buchanan was booked at the Needles Jail and is being held pending his court appearance with no bail.
