Topock, Arizona: Mohave County Sheriff’s patrol car and passenger vehicle crashed along westbound Interstate 40 near Needles Mountain Road late night on Thursday, November 12th, 2020.
According to Arizona Department of Public Safety Media Relations Specialist Bart Graves, “at 9:51 p.m., there was a two-vehicle injury collision involving a Mohave County Sheriff’s patrol car and a passenger vehicle. The collision occurred on Interstate 40 at milepost three in the westbound lanes. The Deputy was on duty and was driving a marked vehicle at the time of the collision. Two people in the passenger vehicle were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. The Deputy was treated and released. The collision remains under investigation.”
The collision closed all lanes of westbound Interstate 40 remains closed at milepost 3.
As of 1:39 a.m. MT on Friday, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) tells ZachNews that all lanes are being reopened.
