Washington, District of Columbia: Amy Coney Barrett got sworn in as United States Supreme Court Justice on Monday, October 26th, 2020 during swearing-in ceremony at the White House.
The swearing-in ceremony comes just minutes after being confirmed as United States Supreme Court Justice by the United States Senate in a 52-48 vote.
United States President Trump nominated Barrett to replace the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg about a week after her death last month.
The last time a Supreme Court vacancy was filled in an election year was 1916, and the latest election year confirmation before Barrett was in July.
