Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station has released publicly information regarding deputies arrested a man from Lancaster during traffic stop for vehicle theft that occurred on Saturday, October 17th, 2020.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Colorado River Station, at 8:58 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police, located a stolen 1996 Ford Ranger vehicle traveling west on Interstate 40, near River Road in the city of Needles.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver and sole occupant, Steven Clark.
On October 8, 2020, the victim reported the vehicle stolen from the city of Palmdale, CA.
Clark was subsequently placed under arrest for Vehicle Theft.
Clark was transported to and booked at the Colorado River Jail, where he is currently being held on a bail amount of $100,000 while awaiting court proceedings.
