Needles, California: The Needles Planning Commission held a meeting inside the Needles City Council Chambers on Wednesday, October 7th, 2020.

The Needles Planning Commission Meeting was broadcast live at ZachNews on Facebook.

The City of Needles wants to remain the public that the Needles Planning Commission is continuing to hold meetings pursuant to the provisions of the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20 which suspends certain requirements of the Ralph M. Brown Act.

As a result of the California’s Executive Order to “Stay-At-Home”, the City of Needles said that in person participation at the Needles Planning Commission meetings is not allowed at this time and the Needles City Council Chambers are not open to the public.

Members of the Needles Planning Commission voted unanimously to approve the agenda with the changes that members will hear the items in the order of C, B and A.

A public hearing to consider all evidence for or against approval of a Special Use Permit (SUP) for a Recreational Vehicle (RV) Park, located at 4418 My Place Road, Needles, CA, also known as Assessor’s Parcel Number 0660-251-38.

This agenda item was move to the next Needles Planning Commission Meeting scheduled for November 11th, 2020.

Members of the Needles Planning Commission voted unanimously to approve two motions: 1. To leave code as is, and 2. Giving six months extension to complete the application, with possible six months after completing application to complete the process.
