Essex, California: The California Highway Patrol is on scene of a vehicle versus semi truck collision along eastbound Interstate 40 just west of Essex Road.
California Highway Patrol reporting reported party saying semi truck only damage is to dot bumper and is hauling flammable hazardous, and vehicle is off roadway into the desert.
At 5:48 p.m. PT on Monday, September 14th, 2020, a semi truck driver advised dispatch that he was hit by a sedan.
Firefighters from the San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to respond.
As of 7:00 p.m. PT, there has been no further information from officials, including if there were any injures.
