Willow Valley, Arizona: Firefighters from Mohave Valley Fire Department and Fort Mojave Mesa Fire Department responded to a haystack fire burning off King Street near Mountain View Road at 10:23 p.m. PT on Friday, September 11th, 2020.
Alayna and Terra sent ZachNews this picture of the haystack fire that was burning as multiple firefighters were battling a vegetation fire off Aztec Road just south of the Avi Resort and Casino that night.
The haystack fire burned overnight; a power line near the haystack fire had to be shut off because of the fire, and did have some damage to the line which will be repair.
According to Don Gibson with the Mohave Valley Fire Department, the haystack fire is under control, no structures are threatened, no reports of injuries, and the cause of thr fire was human cause and still being under investigation.
The haystack fire will continue to burn for the next couple of days, but firefighters will be monitoring for any problems.
