Downtown Needles, California: Community Thrift Store nextdoor to Needles Regional Museum reopened on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020 after being closed due to California Governor’s Stay-At-Home order for COVID-19.
Community Thrift Store, located at 929 Front Store near G Street, usually closes for the summer to do maintenance and changes to the museum and thrift store.
Earlier this year, some confirmed cases of COVID-19 began to show up in the community and the California Governor was beginning to order all non-essential businesses and activities to close as part of the Stay-At-Home order to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, thrift store as well as the museum closed.
The reopening of the Needles Regional Museum is still pending but when its does reopen, people can come inside to learn about the history and culture that made our small railroad community by the Colorado River the “Gateway to California” along historic Route 66.
In the meantime, come on into the Community Thrift Store to check all of the nice little knick-knacks as well as clothes, shoes, cups and dishes, books and much more.
Well there at the Community Thrift Store, purchase the Needles Regional Museum’s 2021 calendars for $10.00 each pickup.
The calendars can be mailed to you for $13.00 each; just end check with your mailing address to: P.O. Box 978 Needles, California, 92363.
The Community Thrift Store is open during the hours from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PT Monday through Saturday.
