Mohave Valley, Arizona: Firefighters were very busy responding to five small vegetation fires overnight.
The first reported small vegetation fire occurred at around 12:15 a.m. on Saturday, September 5th, 2020 in the area of Veterans Parkway and Boundary Cone Road.
A second small vegetation fire was then reported in the area of Veterans Parkway and Aztec Road.
As firefighters from Mohave Valley Fire Department were clearing out from those fires scenes, a third small vegetation fire was reported along the 2000 block of Courtwright Road.
Soon after that report, a fourth small vegetation fire was reported off Courtwright Road just east of Vanderslice Road.
Within a few minutes for those reports of fires, a fifth small vegetation fire along County Route 1 just before Golden Shores, Arizona.
Firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department and Golden Shores Fire Department were called to assist with these fires.
At this moment, no reports of damages to structures or injuries to lives occurred, and the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a vehicle being seen leaving the area after the fires.
