Needles, California: The San Bernardino County Department of Public Health (DPH) has released late on Wednesday, August 12th, 2020 updated information on confirmed COVID-19 cases in our community as well as the latest COVID-19 deaths and total PCR tests for COVID-19 done in the community.

These confirmed cases in Needles, California are of residents, and are separate from the two cases that the City of Needles confirmed in early May 2020 were visitors from Los Angeles, California.

*** Additional Information: As of Wednesday, August 12th, 2020; San Bernardino County Department of Public Health is telling people calling into the COVID-19 hotline asking about the banner thst stats, “The state has discovered an underreporting of COVID-19 cases due to unresolved technical issues with the state’s reporting system. As a result, recent San Bernardino County data may not be accurate,” that the problem is still being resolved, could be a few days so the banner seen on the SBCOVID-19 website will be still up until the State gets the problem resolved. ***
